MYSY Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
The MYSY Scholarship is for Gujarat’s economically weaker students and to be eligible for this scholarship the following points are the eligibility criteria for the MYSY Scholarship:
- To be eligible for a MYSY scholarship for admission to Diploma programs in Gujarat, students must have completed the Class X examination from a recognized board within the state, with a minimum of 80 percent.
- For MYSY scholarships on Bachelor’s degree programs, candidates must have passed the Class XII Science/General stream examination from a recognized board in Gujarat, with a minimum of 80 percent.
- Students for Diploma-to-degree programs must have secured a minimum of 65% marks in their Diploma level examination from a recognized university in Gujarat to be eligible for this program.
- In addition to the above academic criteria, all applicants must also meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Be a permanent resident of Gujarat state.
- To be eligible for this scholarship, students have an annual family income of not more than Rs. 6,00,000/- per annum.
- The income certificate provided by the candidate’s parents remains valid for a duration of three financial years from the date of issuance, as sanctioned by the State Government. Consequently, applicants possessing a valid income certificate will not be required to obtain a new one for the subsequent three financial years.
