Aikyashree Scholarship 2024

The Aikyashree Scholarship programme was initiated by the West Bengal Minority Development and Finance Corporation specifically designed for students in West Bengal who are part of the minority community. This Scholarship programme provides financial support to deserving students at both the school and college levels. Aikyashree Scholarship Eligibility

5 different types of scholarships come under the Aikyashree scholarship, each with different eligibility criteria. Eligibility criteria for all types of scholarships are shared below. Still, one eligibility criterion that is common in all types of scholarships is an applicant must be a resident of West Bengal.

The Eligibility criteria for the different Aikyashree scholarships are given below:

Aikyashree Pre Matric Scholarship Eligibility

• The applicant must reside in West Bengal.
• The annual family income of the applicant should not exceed Rs 200,000.
• The applicant must be enrolled in either 9th or 10th class.
• The applicant must belong to either the SC (Scheduled Caste) or ST (Scheduled Tribe) category.

Aikyashree Post Matric Scholarship Eligibility

• The applicant must hold permanent residency in West Bengal
• The annual family income criteria are as follows: Rs 100,000 or less for OBC, Rs 200,000 or less for SC, and Rs 2.5 lakh or less for ST students.
• Students enrolled in classes 11th, and 12th, or pursuing graduation or post-graduation levels are eligible to apply for this scholarship.
• Only applicants belonging to the SC, ST, or OBC categories are eligible to apply for this scholarship.

Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum Means Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

• The applicant must be a resident of West Bengal.
• The applicant should be enrolled in either class 11th or 12th.
• If the applicant is in higher secondary or pursuing a diploma, a minimum of 75% marks in high school is required.
• For students in undergraduate programs, a minimum of 75% marks in class 12th is necessary.
• The annual family income of the applicant should not exceed Rs 2.5 lakh.
• The scholarship will be awarded based on merit.
• Students pursuing M.Phil and doctoral courses are also eligible to apply for this scholarship.

Hindi Scholarship Scheme Eligibility Criteria

• The applicant must be a permanent resident of West Bengal.
• The candidate should belong to a non-Hindi-speaking state.
• The student must have successfully passed either Madhyamik, higher secondary, graduation, post-graduation or an equivalent degree course.
• A minimum of 60% marks in the qualifying examination is required.
• The 60% mark should be achieved on the first attempt.
• The applicant must have Hindi as one of the subjects.

Bigyani Kanya Medha Britti Scholarship Eligibiltiy Criteria

• The applicant must hold permanent residency in West Bengal.
• The applicant must be female.
• The candidate should have completed class 12th from any recognized board.
• The student must be pursuing education in the field of engineering, medicine, or basic science.
